Meet the team
Dr. Jason Glick
JS Glick, DDS, MPH, MFA, FAAPD,
Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. Glick is a native New Yorker, but has been living in the midwest most of his adult life. He has been a firefighter, a driver in Vice President Gore's motorcade, and is zero degrees separated from Kevin Bacon. He enjoys spending time with his family and many furry companions, cycling, pulling espresso shots from scratch, playing guitar in his dad band, and recently started sewing again.

Dr. Glick is Maize ’n’ Blue all the way through, earning four degrees from the University of Michigan. First, he began his training with a BFA (’95) in illustration and design. His artistic talent and passion for science led him to graduate training and an MFA (’97) in Medical & Biological Illustration, which opened the door toward his journey into healthcare. During dental school (DDS ’03), Dr. Glick became interested in oral surgery and working with children. As a general resident, his passion for treating children and special-needs patients really took shape and he went on to complete specialty training in pediatric dentistry in 2006 at Schneider Children’s Hospital in New York. After returning to the midwest in 2008, Dr. Glick joined a well-known Evanston pediatric dental office, became board-certified, and grew his patient following. In 2023, Dr. Glick established his own new practice, Third Coast Pediatric Dentistry.

Pam Gipson-King
Hygiene
Pam has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 30 years. A graduate of Youngstown State University where she earned a BS in Dental Hygiene along with a Bachelors in Allied Health, she is passionate about dental health and bonds with her patients as she teaches them about the importance of oral health care. Pam is an extrovert who likes to make her appointments fun for patients and their caregivers, as she builds confidence and trust with them. She enjoys her work.
In her spare time, Pam loves exercising, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, family and her two beautiful grand kids.
Laura Sikorski
Reception
Laura has been in dentistry for over 20 years. Working up at the front desk, Laura has become one of the faces of the office, and often is one of the first people you will talk to or see when you come in for your visit. In addition, she has become a more knowledgeable and all-around team member. Working with children has allowed her to relate better to her own kids, and as a parent she can bring understanding and empathy to your experience. Laura enjoys spending time with her family and cats. She also likes reading and is always looking for book recommendations.
Angelica Chavez
Assistant
Angelica is Dr. Glick’s incredible assistant. Even though she is one of the younger members of the team, Angelica has quickly stepped up to be part of our amazing staff. She loves getting to know all of the different families, learning about their backgrounds and hearing about their adventures. Outside the office, Angelica enjoys traveling, self-care days, and watching football and baseball games. She also is a dog mom to her lab/pitbull mix.
Tracy Carlson
Office Manager
Tracy is a lifelong Evanstonian, and she raised her two sons in this community. She has been working in the dental field for over 35 years, with only a break to teach at the School for Little Children. Tracy literally runs the show at Third Coast. She knows almost everything there is to know about how to keep the office running smoothly, and that includes managing the staff (even Dr. J!). What she enjoys most about working in pediatric dentistry is watching our patients grow—they come in as toddlers and then move on as young adults. Some even return with their own children! She feels fortunate to work with Dr. Glick and to be a part of such a fantastic team, who work so well together. Tracy has two grandchildren and many grandpets and is herself a cat mom.
Fritzie Farrell
Reception
Fritzie has been a part of the team for more than ten years. As the other half of our dynamic front-desk duo, she also brings a depth of experience and compassion to the team. Fritzie enjoys getting to know all of our patients and parents, and looks forward to creating relationships with them. When she is not working hard at the office, she enjoys going on camping trips with her family, watching college and professional sporting events, and cooking.
Jose Garcia
Assistant
Jose may be new-ish to the world of dentistry, but he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in related areas. His background involves middle school education (special education in particular) and behavioral therapy, and is currently enrolled as a public relations major. He finds it rewarding to work in pediatrics and likes seeing all the new faces each day. Jose enjoys traveling, spending time with people who are important in his life, collecting makeup and watching movies.
comfort-first care
Third Coast Pediatric Dentistry is a dental home for children and adolescents serving Chicago’s North Shore suburbs. We know that the relationship you have with your first dentist can set the tone for a lifetime of oral health. And a lifetime of good oral health begins with comfort-first care.
Dr. Jason Glick and the staff of Third Coast Pediatric Dentistry are your neighbors. We are parents, too. And, we are professionals who understand the unique social, emotional, and developmental needs of our patients. We want to build the foundation for a lifetime of positive oral health outcomes by encouraging and caring for our patients’ total well-being.
more about us
Third Coast Pediatric Dentistry is the next chapter of a pediatric dental legacy that has been serving the oral health needs of infants, children, and adolescents on Chicago’s North Shore for more than 60 years. We are prepared to manage all patients, from the typical well child, to severely medically, physically, or developmentally challenged individuals. All patients in our office benefit from the years of training and experience only available from an established board-certified specialist and professionally licensed hygienist.
A major component of our approach involves a strong emphasis on the value of preventative care for our patients, along with education for patients and their parents and caregivers. We work with families to emphasize the importance of good oral health and its relationship to overall physical health and development.
We work hard to provide the highest quality, evidence-based care in a nurturing and positive environment. We also utilize the most up-to-date technology possible – the office is fully digitized, allowing us to save time, minimize our patientsʼ exposure to radiation, and communicate effectively with you as well as referring professionals.
At Third Coast Pediatric Dentistry, we are patient-centered and community-based. We want to give all children and families a “dental home” where they can receive the best dental care possible. We look forward to building a relationship with you and your family as partners in the care of your children.
